Looks like players will finally get to experience one of the best, and most underappreciated, Legend ofZelda games ever made! Released back in 2011 for the Nintendo Wii, a lot of players passed on Skyward Sword due to its reliance on motion controls. Sadly, that also means that they lost out on one of Link’s best outings, but it looks like that might change relatively soon.
Skyward Sword was going to be seeing a release at some point
Over on Twitter, a user by the name of Wario64 was able to find something that seemed to confirm the impending release. Uncovering a listed release on the Amazon UK site, which would seem to confirm the game’s remaster. Or just a re-release on a newer console, either one is fine.
This would also mark Skyward Sword as one of the many Zelda titles to receive an HD remake. Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask received remasters on the Nintendo 3DS. Link’s Awakening returned as a remake to the Switch. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker got a remaster on the Wii-U back in the day as well.
Speaking of which, hey Nintendo, would you mind remastering Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Switch? Please, pretty please? Because that game was so good and we would love to be able to go back and replay it anywhere.
