A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s new film, Tenet, premiered last night (in Fortnite, no less), and it looks to be another mind-bending thriller from the man behind Inception and Interstellar.
We don’t know a ton about the plot of the film, as Nolan is keeping it under wraps, as he always does. We do know it is focused on international espionage and involves some kind of time manipulation. It sounds right up Nolan’s alley.
The film’s cast is led by John David Washington, and includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Kenneth Branagh, and, of course, Michael Caine. It’s never a Nolan movie without Michael Caine.
This is the first film of Nolan’s following his 2017 war film, Dunkirk, a film which earned him a nomination for Best Director at the Academy Awards. Nolan has a knack for crafting high-concept plots and presenting them in accessible and thrilling ways. He is an artist at the top of his game right now, and we can’t wait to see what kind of madness he brings us with Tenet.
