Rocksteady Games, the studio behind the Arkham series, is reportedly the studio behind the Suicide Squad game allegedly leaked through domain name registrations.

EuroGamer reports that the studio has been working on the game for several years, with the domain name “Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League” potentially being the game’s full title. There is also mention of a Gotham Knights game.

They also report that the domains were registered by WB Interactive and that the Gotham Knights game is the long-rumored Batman: Court of Owls game. They say both games will be shown, in some way, at the DC FanDome event.

Rocksteady Reportedly Working on Suicide Squad Game

The domain names were originally found by ResetEra user, DriftingOrbit, including the domains “suicidesquadgame.com”, “suicidesquadkillthejusticeleague.com”, and “gothamknightsgame.com.”

The domain names were registered by MarkMonitor Inc, which is also registered the wbgames.com domain.

There have been rumors in the past that a Suicide Squad game was cancelled at WB Games Montreal and that a Court of Owls game was being developed. Some have taken these new findings to mean that WB Montreal is behind the Gotham Knights game and Rocksteady is creating the Suicide Squad game.

Recently, we learned that AT&T, who owns WB Interactive, may be looking to sell the gaming division, which includes studios NetherRealm and Rocksteady.

We will have to wait and see what happens at the DC FanDome event when it happens on August 22nd. WB Games will be making announcements at the event and we hope to see more of both these games.
